This is a very good collection of Basie songs as sung by Lambert Hendricks and Ross in the vocalese style. Unfortunately, the recording quality, while adequate, is not great - its good. It will expose you to sung versions of Basie tunes that you may not be aware of. Think of the sound quality as a worn hardback book, rather than a shiny new one/5(26).
